- NSAIDs:
Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), such as ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil) or naproxen (Aleve), are considered the effective pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory medication that target inflammation and can give you some respite from the pain and inflammation.
But, prolonged use of ibuprofen can cause irritation and damage to the stomach, kidneys, and liver.

- Temporary fillings: Temporary tooth fillings are also considered useful pain-relieving products and include repair kits to soften the edge of a lost previous filling or a loose cap. These repair kits are for temporary use and aren’t meant to last long, so there’s a need to contact a dentist to have the temporary filling replaced with a permanent one.
