Dr. Jeffrey Evers
Dr. Jeffrey Evers is a general dentist who provides comprehensive dental care to families of all types in the Mesa, AZ community. A member of the American Dental Association, State of Arizona Dental Association, and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Dr. Evers is a dentist who can be trusted with the most complex cases. Working in the dental field for over 15 years, Dr. Evers finds the most fulfillment in giving people healthy and beautiful smiles.
Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
While Dr. Evers attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, he completed his undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine with a desire to become a physical therapist. While completing his degree, he worked directly with the BYU football team and was tasked with making the team's mouthguards with the assistance of a local dentist. While the two worked together to ensure the football team kept their teeth in place, Dr. Evers discovered a passion for dentistry. After that, he decided to shadow several dentists and was taken aback by dentistry's impact on people's lives. He fell in love with dentistry because whether it's getting someone out of pain or giving someone a smile they're confident in, people's lives can change in one appointment.
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
Dr. Evers attended Bear River High School in his hometown of Auburn, California. Upon graduation, he swiftly attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, completing his undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine. After falling in love with dentistry during his final years at BYU, he decided to attend AT Still University in Mesa, AZ, to complete his DMD degree and become a board-certified dentist. Always thinking about impacting as many people as possible, while completing his degree at AT Still University, he also completed a Certificate in Public Health.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
When Dr. Evers isn't in the office enjoys a variety of activities, from spending time with his family and playing sports. Dr. Evers and his wife Kelly have two girls, Elle and Laney, and a son Ray. The kids love playing volleyball, and the family spends as much time on the beach volleyball courts as possible. When Dr. Evers has time to himself, he enjoys golfing, expanding his shoe collection with the most coveted Jordans, and playing basketball.
